Scouting Report for Game 21 starter Charlie Haeger

The 26-year old knuckleballer is in his 3rd organization since 2006 (White Sox, Padres and Dodgers). He has a 5.53 career ERA in 68 1/3 innings, including a 6.46 ERA this year in 3 starts. He struck out 12 Marlins in his first start of the year, but has been less effective in each of the last two starts. He has been very wild, with > 7 W/9 innings in the small sample size this year.

Haeger throws an 83-84 MPH Fastball appx 20% of the time (up from 8% last year), a 78-79 mph slider 5% of the time, and the rest is a 70 mph knuckleball 75%.

So obviously a very different style than game 1 starter for the Dodgers (Kuroda).
