Heyman of SI.com, just tweeted "Carlos Beltran met with Dr. Steadman. doing well but dr. advises all "hot spots" (bone bruises) heal before he can run."
My Take: The surgery was supposed to get rid of the causes of the "hot spots." After 3 months of rest and rehab, this should not be an issue. I trust what Heyman is saying because he is a "spokesperson for Scott Boras." This is very bad news for the Mets and I no longer am counting on Carlos Beltran returning any time in the near/far future.
Very discouraging news.
