Mets have the day off to rest and make the strenuous drive down to Philadelphia to face the Phillies for the first time this year. On paper, the Mets have the pitchng match-up advantage, but games aren't won or lost on paper. This should be a nice series to watch and see how these teams react.

Friday, Jon Niese vs Kyle Kendrick
Saturday, Mike Pelfrey vs Roy Halladay
Sunday, Johan Santana vs Jamie Moyer
I will have the scouting reports posted for each of these pitchers as usual, and hopefully post some of the pictures from yesterday's win at some point tonight/tomorrow, but will have minimal game coverage for Friday and Saturday's games.
Enjoy the fact the Mets are capitalizing on other team's mistakes and playing fundamental baseball. It is once again fun to watch the Mets play, something that has been lacking for some time. And enjoy the fact the Mets are in first place for another day!
