Scouting Report on Nationals Starter, Garrett Mock: He was a 3rd round pick by Arizona in 2004, and has always impressed scouts with his stuff (93 mph fastball, and two solid breaking balls), but has battled injuries with his knees, as well as lack of command (44 walks in 91 innings last year). Was ranked 12th best prospect in Washington's system last year. Is a ground-ball pitcher who has the ability to miss bats (46 k's in 41 innings with the Nationals in 2008, 72 in 91 innings last year).

Prediction: Mets win 3-2, as Pelfrey starts his season out on the right foot.
