Beltran was NOT cleared to begin running and/or any baseball activities. I, along with everyone else, was very surprised to hear this tonight. It has been over 3 months since the surgery...This is not good (understatement of the year).
Also in tonight's game, R Igarashi strained his hamstring, and will have an MRI tomorrow. So much for him being our 8th inning guy, at least in the short-term.
