Yes, I'm commenting on an intrasquad game, but what else am I supposed to do on March 1st?
Jose Reyes hit a triple on the 1st pitch he saw in the intrasquad game, and 'According to SNY producer Matt Dunn, Reyes said was not running full speed on the triple, and so he is encouraged because it means he has ‘more speed in the tank,’ so to speak.'
I'm not sure if that is so encouraging. I'd be happier if I read a report that Jose Reyes legged out a triple going full speed, showed no hesitation, and also reported no pain or soreness afterward. That would encourage me more.
Grapefruit league finally opens up tomorrow. Mets vs Braves, and it will be broadcast on SNY. Get excited!
