Review of the Amazin Avenue Annual

Again, for those of you who have a long commute on a train, or a lot of free time to read, I highly recommend downloading the Amazin Avenue Annual. It's over 300 pages of Mets commentary, player stats and scouting reports, as well as, top 10 prospects to keep an eye on in the lower levels. And best of all, the PDF is FREE (they are releasing a hard copy of the book soon as well).  Here is my original post on it, http://longlivesheastadium.blogspot.com/2010/03/great-pdf-download-for-amazins.html, and the annual is available for download at: http://www.amazinavenueannual.com/

My favorite chapters were chapters 6 and 8. It eloquently describes what the Mets have done and continue to do wrong over the past couple years, and what needs to change. I agree with almost every point they made, and have touched upon almost all of the same points at some point on this blog, but the essays are clear, concise and 100% accurate. I also enjoyed the candid assessments of Gary Matthews Jr., among others.

Great job again to Eric Simon (who has had over 1000 downloads of the annual already), as well as all the contributing writers. It was a great annual, and deserves all the praise that it has received nationally.
