Parnell doesn't get an out, and the Mets bullpen allows 6 runs in the 8th inning.
M Hessman hits 3 run HR in the 9th, but for naught.

So hard to watch them meltdown in the 8th. The biggest issue I had was the breaking ball to Francisco that tied the game. Darling is on the broadcast saying how his bat is slow. He can't catch up to the fastball and even though I know he wanted to bounce the breaking ball, he didn't.
ReplyDeleteAgain, they are who they are...and that ain't gonna change this year.
We have guys who throw 100, can't get outs. Other teams have guys who throw 100, they always get the Mets out. Go figure
