I think given his current lack of power moving him to 1st is a mistake. He is A-Rod? No. Is he Delgado? No. Can he be Jeff Kent? Certainly.

As for who would replace him, I'm not sure who is available in AA, but I think you would have to look to free agency.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06480819256448661926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8862282067381058668.post-3982980071169047002010-04-26T17:21:21.438-04:002010-04-26T17:21:21.438-04:00Tom, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, this is not something the Mets would/should ever consider doing. 1) If D Wright is unable to handle 3B defensively, he will move to 1B, not to a harder defensive position (2B). 2) The Mets have no other 3B with "actual power" in the minor leagues, and there isn't anyone available on the trade market. Who would you suggest?Anthonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01535595425731409976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8862282067381058668.post-10581931149360468412010-04-25T20:10:15.061-04:002010-04-25T20:10:15.061-04:00I need you to address something. Move Wright to second, and get a third baseman with actual power.

Your thoughts???Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06480819256448661926noreply@blogger.com
