Well that's lovely for us fans in Met world. Provided they are healthy, when are they ever goign to go on a losing streak? I mean let's say Halladay has a bad night (and those happen so often), you have a stopper in Lee. Let's say they both have a bad night, then your stopper is Hamels. But let's just say all 3 have a bad night, bring on Oswalt. Are you kidding me! Great job by Philly and Ruben Amaro. Not only did they just make themselves the best team in the NL, I guarantee Philly fans are like "Jayson Werth who".

So what does this mean for the Mets? Well, it isn't all bad. I mean it is, but win 90 games and you have a shot at the wild card. I am not saying the Mets are wild card contender--that's TBD. I am just saying the the Phils can take the division and win 200 games. Whatever. The Mets aren't on that level yet. But the Mets hopefully can compete with the other 2nd place / wild card teams.

I can't wait for the 4 game series they Mets and Phils will play they show the probably matchups for the coming games and the Phils are throwing Halladay, Oswalt, Hamels, and Lee. I have to laugh it is so ridiculous. Philly and Boston--huge movers in the off season...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8862282067381058668.post-32257209637745098652010-12-12T17:48:31.728-05:002010-12-12T17:48:31.728-05:00a 6'6 mid 90's guy at least makes me want ...a 6'6 mid 90's guy at least makes me want to see him in spring training...if one of these rule 5 guys or signings works out, then they did a good job. It costs nothing to give them a shotAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
