If they don't make the playoffs, then they will clean house, Omar included. I just don't see a mid-season change. What would be the point? Firing Manuel won't fix the attendance. MAYBE they fire a coach (HoJo or somebody) as a warning at most. They got themselves into this mess and they are the ones (players) who are going to have to battle out of it.<br /><br />And if I were a fly on the wall in the Mets front office, I am sure I would hear something like "we are in striking distance of the wild card with a hot streak". I still think they think they have a shot at this thing. And who knows, they might, but not getting shut out once every other game or so.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
